Founder & CEO

Dr. Muhammad Farhan Khan Abbasi (PhD)

Dr. Muhammad Farhan Khan Abbasi (PhD.) is the Founder and CEO of Farhan Abbasi Research Institute- FARI (SMC PRIVATE) Limited. Dr. Abbasi holds diverse academic and professional career. He clamps a PhD. Degree in International Relations (Major in Foreign Policy Analysis) from the prestigious public sector University in Pakistan (University of the Punjab- Quaid-e-Azam Campus Lahore-Punjab). He also earned M.Phil. degree in Political Economy from the same University, M.B.A-IT and B.C.S (Hons) respectively. In his initial professional career, he has served in both consumer and retail Banking Sectors (Standard Charted Bank, Citi Bank, Dubai Islamic Bank and Silk Bank). He also qualified the highest competitive examination CE (CSS) by Federal Public Service Commission Government of Pakistan in 2012. Having the diverse exposure to both public and private sectors the organizational skills of Dr. Abbasi are nearly unmatchable. He is mentoring the aspirants of Competitive Examination, training young candidates for start-up building, teaching research courses, and contributing his experience in multiple public and private sector universities. Dr. Abbasi is also a well-known media broadcaster / political commentator and foreign policy expert (South-Asia and South West Asia) engaged with leading mainstream media houses in Pakistan.
